Our Story

EXELIXIS is an innovative and dynamic company involved in Distribution of Pharmaceutical specialties, Cosmetics and Medical Devices within Greece and Parallel Export of Pharmaceuticals, Cosmetic products and Medical Devices from Greece, to be distributed on EE and non-EE markets.

Our Company was established in 2016 by a team of Professionals in the Pharmaceutical distribution, Healthcare sector, Cosmetics and Personal Care field.

EXELIXIS is a full-line wholesaler, fully licensed, it is authorized by the Greek Medicines Agency (EOF) and receives a Parallel Export license for each parallel exported product whenever this is necessary.

Our Mission is to provide our clients original high quality products by taking care of the whole process, starting from the selection of our suppliers until the marketing and promotion of the final product.

Thanks to the access to a network of over 800 pharmacies (clients) and a growing business throughout pharma and cosmetics distributors, EXELIXIS has built and continues building up a consistent market share on the market in Greece.

WHAT WE DO

Parallel Export :

We export pharmaceutical specialties, medical devices and cosmetics to all countries around and outside Europe, by monitoring all the supply chain in order to guarantee our European and non-European clients quality and safety of the exported products.
That’s why we buy just from multinational manufacturers and authorized and certified national wholesalers.

Packing and dispatch of consignments :

Since its constitution, Exelixis established a strong and a long-term collaboration with the most reliable and efficient trsansport companies, which are authorized by the National Medicines Agency of Greece (EOF) and works in compliance with the Good Disribution Practices (GDP).

Distribution within Greece :

We distribute our products all around Greece,
offering a professional service
thanks to a team of experts dedicated to retail Pharmacies.
We satisfy a purchase order in less than 24h.

Marketing Plans :

We develop efficient and strategic marketing and communication plans both for exported branded products and for products distributed within Greece to our retail Pharmacy customers.

PARALLEL EXPORT

According to the European Commission, “The parallel export of a medicinal product involves importing the product into one Member State from another Member State and then distributing it outside the distribution network set up by the manufacturer or his/her authorized distributor”.

This commercial practice is legalized in the Community market in virtue of the principle of the free movement of goods. It was recognized by the European Court of Justice as early as 1976.

Parallel Export & Import brings benefits both to clients (who can buy the same branded products at a lower price) and to National Health Service (by paying a “pay-back” for reimbursed products).

Products that we parallel export to all Europe are branded products with the same formulation, active ingredients, and therapeutic effects of the correspondent branded products already marketed in Greece.

The National Medicines Agency of Greece (EOF), if necessary, releases to Exelixis a license for each drug to be exported to any EU member state.

Exelixis requires high qualitative standards to parallel export products, by using box, labels, packing material and temperature control procedures and materials made by companies leader in pharmaceutical sector.

All packaging activities are performed to make the exported product completely safe.
